Transform Your Skin and Muscle Health

"This thing is saving me from the constrictive strait jacket that is and had been my fascia for at least a decade. I stretch, foam roll, do mfr, get massage, yoga, you name it...but if your fascia is as tight and immobile as mine none of that stuff really affects it. I have been using this tool for about 2 hrs every day from thighs and calves, to arms to scalp, and while it does hurt with barely any pressure on many places of my body, I am working through a lifetime of constriction and pain to get through to the point where I can move freely. With this tool I am happily on my way! My advice, if it hurts a lot start at the least amount of pressure with just the weight of the tool and your arm. Don't use more pressure until it starts feeling less painful! Releasing fascia is a journey." - Wildcat |

"I really have enjoyed this product! I’ve used similar types of cellulite reducing tools before and this is by far my favorite. It is sturdy, smooth, and easy to hold. I like that I can use it on top of leggings and I don’t need an oil or for it to be wet. The prongs also make it feel like it’s really breaking up the fascia." - Olivia |

How to Use the KOAPRO Fascia Gua Sha Massage Tool
Preparation
Cleanse skin. Mist or apply oil to skin. Additionally, deep cleanse your face with the KOAPRO Cleansing Face Massage Tool.
Facial Massage
Once your face is hydrated, use the flat side edges of the Gua Sha tool at about a 15-degree angle to the skin and apply slow, light to medium pressure in sweeping upward motions.
Always take short strokes in just one direction, not back and forth. If you want to reduce puffiness, work lightly, then more firmly, to relax muscles. Pressing the tool flat to the skin, delicately stroke under the eyes or over any redness to soothe and de-puff.
Areas of the Face for Gua Sha
- Nose: Lightly scrape up the bridge of your nose, then down the sides to your cheeks. Repeat three times.
- Cheeks: Start at your nose and sweep upwards and outwards towards your ears. Scrape once, then move down and scrape again, and finally scrape again at the center of your chin.
- Under eyes: Start at the inner corner of your eye and glide outwards to your temple. This can help reduce lines, dark circles, redness, and puffiness.
- Forehead: Use horizontal strokes over your brow bone to smooth wrinkles, lift skin, and release tension.
- Lips: Glide back and forth over your lips about five times to plump them.
- Jawline and chin: Use strokes from the inside of your face outwards to lift your complexion and firm your skin. You can also gently guide the tool from the middle of your chin along your jawline towards your ear. Repeat three times on both sides.
Body Massage
Hold the tool at a 30–45° angle so it touches your skin, then follow these steps:
- Use light to medium pressure: Start slowly and increase pressure as your tolerance builds. Pushing too hard can close lymphatic vessels.
- Move in the right direction: Move in the direction of your muscles, usually in an outward and downward motion. For example, when working on your neck, start at the base of your head and stroke down. When working on your thighs, start at the bottom of your outer thigh and stroke up toward your hips. The exception is at the hairline, where you can apply gua sha above and below the area of concern.
- Repeat: Repeat each movement three to five times before moving on to another area.
- Look for results: You might see small red dots or petitions appear after gua sha, or your skin might simply turn red. This is normal and indicates increased blood flow.
Use the tool's fingers for targeted pressure and the flat edges for Gua Sha skin scraping techniques.
Trigger Points
For deep trigger points, apply steady pressure for 30 to 90 seconds.
Post-Massage Care
Clean the tool with antibacterial soap and hydrate well before, during, and after your massage.

How Long Should Each Gua Sha Session Last?
Each gua sha session should last between 5-10 minutes, focusing on different areas of the body as needed. Adjust the duration based on your comfort level and the specific needs of the area being treated.
Is It Normal to Experience Bruising After Using the Gua Sha Tool?
The gua sha tool is scraped in a fluid motion to disperse stagnant blood. Long strokes over lubricated skin with a fair amount of pressure help to stimulate blood flow in the affected area. Mild bruising often occurs, which is the result of blood flowing to the surface of the skin. It may take about a week or so for the bruise healing marks to resolve. Start with light pressure and gradually increase as your skin adapts to prevent excessive bruising and ensure a comfortable experience.
